What a weekend of racing in Boston - and it felt great to be back on my bike to catch so much of the action. Lou started the morning off competing for the first time in the club single at this regatta placing 15th. My 8+ boat took second to the other Team USA boat by less than a second (shoutout to the coxswains for making such a great race) after chasing a killer wake from Stanford most of the race. Then Lou brought it home in the directors challenge 8+ placing 3rd - but let's be honest, their Lion King costumes were first rate! Back to Princeton I go now for a few more weeks on the water with my teammates continuing our training to boat the best crew for Tokyo 2020.

There's nothing quite like being in Boston for the Head of The Charles! I'll be racing in the Team USA boat (Bow 3) for the Champ 8 and I'm here supporting Lou racing his club single on Sunday as well. I’m thoroughly enjoying a weekend of rowing and cheering all the oarsmen and oarswomen out there on the Charles; and it was wonderful spending some time with some former teammates -(L->R Mary Whipple, Susan Francia, Anna Goodale, Molly Baker).
