Caryn give us one of the most delightful, exciting and memorable Oxford & Cambridge alumni dinners ever!
“Caryn spoke to the AIM Central Massachusetts CEO Connection group of which I am a part. She brought years of proven experience working in teams over many Olympic cycles. This differentiates her from many others in the sport of rowing because it is one thing to be a part of a successful team, but entirely another to be a part of many different successful teams, often in the same pivotal position on each of those teams: the stroke seat.
This coupled with her real experience in other areas of professional life truly qualifies her to bring real benefit as a speaker. And bring that benefit she did. Empathy for oneself, ones team mates, working with team members each in different ways to bring out the strongest possibilities of success are only a few of the unique perspectives she shared. She inspired without question, but most importantly enabled every single member of my team, as well as the other members of our CEO connection group to think differently and impactfully about their own experiences. It was truly valuable. I hope it is not the last time we are able to enjoy her company!”
“All of the fellows at the Institute for Rowing Leadership agreed that having Caryn speak about trust and ownership making great leaders was one of the best classes of the year. Caryn’s firsthand experience and stories made the session more engaging and tangible for all of our future leaders.”
“Caryn completely charmed our members with her description of ‘Winning with Aloha’ and her tales of Hawaii’s most famous Olympian, Duke Kahanamoku. Her keynote address made the annual conference a trip to remember.”
